- We make it easy to visit – our North Sydney office has convenient, free parking nearby.
- You can start with a brief conversation – we offer a complimentary 10-minute initial phone call.
Our aim is to combine specialist expertise with a personal, approachable style so that you feel supported from your first contact with us through to final resolution.
Our Costs
In a time of uncertainty, we know that cost should not be another source of stress. We are upfront about our fees and will explain how costs work in your matter before you decide to proceed.
Fixed Fees For Many Services
For many non-contentious matters, we offer fixed fees, including:
- Wills and estate planning documents
- Enduring powers of attorney and enduring guardianship
- Residential conveyancing
- Certifying and witnessing documents as public notary
- Trust and superannuation deeds
We will discuss your requirements, set out what is included and provide a fixed quote. If you later ask us to do additional work, we will explain the options and provide an updated quote before proceeding.
When A Fixed Fee Is Not Possible
Some matters – particularly litigation and disputes – are less predictable. In these cases it is often not possible to offer a single fixed fee.
For these matters we break the work into stages where we can, explain the likely cost of each component and keep you informed as the matter progresses. This helps you to budget and to make informed decisions at each step.
Already Have a Lawyer? Switching to Us
Sometimes a wills or estates matter seems to be going nowhere. You may feel that no one is really in control of the process or actively pressing for a result.
You might recognise some of the following:
- Your lawyer does not return phone calls or emails.
- Your lawyer seems unsure of the law or what to do next.
- It feels as though other parties are taking advantage of the situation after someone has died.
- You are being criticised for doing your job as executor, with no one firmly in your corner.
We specialise in wills and estates matters that other lawyers may find difficult. We focus on identifying what needs to happen next, pushing to move matters forward and guiding executors and beneficiaries through the process with clear, practical advice.
If you are concerned about the progress of your current matter, we can review your situation, explain your options and, if appropriate, assist with a smooth transfer of your file so that work can continue without unnecessary delay.
